Customs & restricted items

This page explains your responsibility for customs and lists examples of items that may be restricted. It is not legal, customs, tax, or carrier advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate shipment declarations and for obtaining any required permits. You are also responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees charged by the authorities in Algeria.

Restricted items

Some items may be restricted or prohibited. For example, Algerian customs currently allow a maximum of 2 electronic devices (phones, laptops, tablets) per package.

This list is not exhaustive. The customs authorities decide what is permitted, and their rules can change.

Official information

Check the official Algerian Customs website for current rules: https://www.douane.gov.dz/

The wording and rules on that site are set by the authorities, and the link may change. You can also contact us with questions.

Not professional advice

Our service and experience are not legal, customs, tax, or carrier advice. For a definitive answer about your specific package, consult the relevant authority or a qualified professional.

No clearance or delivery guarantee

We cannot guarantee customs clearance or final delivery. Customs authorities may hold, inspect, or refuse a package, and the carrier may face delays outside our control.
